Recalls are checked against the US CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) public database — the same free, official source FrogCog checks automatically for everything in your inventory. Matches are by brand and product type; recalls often cover a range of models, so always open the official notice and verify your exact model/serial before acting. We never claim certainty. No UK recall database is open/free yet, so recall checks are US-only for now. Warranty terms come from our own manufacturer reference data (the same one the app uses) — always confirm against your appliance's actual paperwork.
